En: Break the silence
BRIEF
On the occasion of 25 November, the international day against
domestic violence, I had the opportunity to collaborate with RTL TVI,
a major generalist television channel in Belgium and Luxembourg,
in the creation of an Instagram filter that could raise awareness
among a wide audience.
CONCEPT
After various brainstorming sessions, we came up with the idea
to symbolise the liberation of speech. The idea was to symbolise
the violence with hands invading the screen, including the neck,
creating a very anxious feeling, and to add a trigger that would
make them disappear once the user opened their mouth.
This would then display a message with an available call number.
WHERE?
The filter was successfully published on
the main account of RTL TVI and was available
the week of 25 November 2021.
RESULTS
With more than 40k impressions and over thousands interactions,
the filter made the right impact during its short lifespan.
